Our Busiest Month Yet!
As we enter July, the month in which we have our biggest events of the year – Imbibe and the Great Yorkshire Show, things have been a little more challenging compared to previous years. We were left with absolutely no events equipment following our fire, but this didn’t stump our team. They have been working around the clock to pull together a brand-new event stand.
At Imbibe we needed to make an impact and show the trade we are very much still moving forward and are still serving our signature Masons G&T’s and cocktails in fabulous surroundings and as you can above we ticked that box. It’s now been packed away and is ready to take to the Great Yorkshire Show next week.
Moving onto The Great Yorkshire Show, it’s amazing to think this will be our 6th year of exhibiting! It really is our biggest consumer event every year and it’s Cathy’s personal favourite – It’s a fantastic opportunity to get the whole team working together (and at the minute that’s a rarity as everyone is coping with several temporary locations), and we also get the chance to speak to all of our lovely customers!
So, what’s it like preparing for the Great Yorkshire Show? Well there really is a multitude of different things to think about in the run up to the event, from the smallest details such as where will we source the ice from for the samples, to will the stand fit in the room (it didn’t, we had to reduce the height by 2 inches). We are fortunate enough to have an Events Manager (the lovely Steph) who has been working on the logistics of the event, behind that our team of Distillers and Bottlers have been working around the clock to ensure enough stock is ready for the event. We also have our Marketing team who have been busy liaising with the organisers to ensure all our branding is printed and are also planning the social media activity.
Finally, Cathy and I have also been working with Channel 5 on filming something special to celebrate the show and our return since the fire – So remember to tune into Channel 5 at 8PM on the 9th July!
